"The U.S. has underestimated the pace of China’s development of some cutting edge weapons, but China still lags in its ability to effectively deploy and use sophisticated systems, a top Naval Intelligence officer said today.
In recent months senior U.S. defense officials have said that it would be at least until 2020 until China had a stealth fighter jet. But photos of what appears to be a prototype Chinese stealth fighter, the J-20, have been published in recent days, just days ahead of Defense Secretary Robert Gates visit to Beijing..."
